We are honored to be a recipient of funding through the Carnival Memphis Children鈥檚 Charity Initiative (CCI)

June 2026 -Yesterday, Dr. G represented the 福利片国产 of Memphis Institute on Disability (UMID) at the CCI check-signing ceremony. Established in 1999, the Children鈥檚 Charity Initiative supports organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for children throughout the Memphis community.

This year, UMID was proud to receive funding alongside PURE Academy and Memphis Allies. We are grateful to Carnival Memphis and its Grand Krewes for their generosity and commitment to supporting children, youth, and families across our community.

Thank you for investing in programs that create opportunities, foster inclusion, and make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.

TigerLIFE at the Sphinx Queen鈥檚 Luncheon

June 2026 -Dr. Chrisan Schiro-Geist along with Dr. Patrick Krolik and a few TigerLIFE students had a wonderful opportunity to attend the Sphinx Queen鈥檚 Luncheon, where they enjoyed an afternoon of community, celebration, and meaningful connections. Events like these provide valuable experiences that promote inclusion, engagement, and personal growth while allowing students to connect with others and represent the TigerLIFE program.
