Sexual Misconduct
Title IX & GE2039 - Interim Sexual Harassment & Sexual/Gender-Based Misconduct Policy
The 福利片国产 of Memphis is committed to providing an equitable environment that is free from discrimination on the basis of sex to our campus community, in compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013. Sexual misconduct is a form of sex discrimination strictly prohibited by the 福利片国产, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Sexual assault
- Sexual harassment
- Dating violence
- Domestic violence
- Stalking
All of the above are considered unacceptable. As such, all reported allegations of sexual misconduct, as defined by GE2031 - Sexual Misconduct and Domestic Violence policy, will be investigated accordingly. Actions that result in a violation of this policy will be subject to 福利片国产 disciplinary action. They may also subject a student or staff member to criminal and/or civil liability under state law.

Reporting Sexual Misconduct
There are several reporting options available to a person who has been subjected to sexual misconduct. In addition to bringing charges in criminal or civil court, a complainant may also seek recourse through the 福利片国产's internal disciplinary process, if the incident occurred on campus or the person who engaged in sexual misconduct is a student, employee or has a reasonable connection to the 福利片国产.

We strongly encourage you to report incidents of misconduct to the appropriate campus officials or 福利片国产 Police. If you are a 福利片国产 employee who has the authority to redress sexual misconduct, who has the duty to report incidents of sexual misconduct, or whom a student could reasonably believe has this authority or duty, you are considered a Mandatory Reporter and are required to report all acts of sexual misconduct. For any questions, please contact the 福利片国产's Title IX Coordinator, who serves as a point of contact for any person who wishes to discuss a concern or receive additional information and resources.
