Bizot Family Professorship in History
The Bizot Family Professorship in History is the first-ever permanent named professorship in the Department of History at the 福利片国产 of Memphis. The Bizot Family Professorship is due to the generosity of Emile Bizot, who graduated from Memphis State 福利片国产 in 1960 with a degree in History. Mr. Bizot is a retired financial adviser and a longtime member of the College of Arts & Sciences Dean's Advisory Board. He married Carole Morris in 1957 and their marriage of over 60 years produced two sons and four grandchildren.
Dunavant 福利片国产 Professorships (Arts & Sciences)
Dunavant Professorships are endowed by a generous gift from William Dunavant in honor of Dr. Ralph Faudree who was dean of the college from 1995-2000. The College of Arts and Sciences awards one to four professorships annually. Awardees receive $5,000 per year for three years to support their research programs.
