Paul Revere Williams Project
AMUM is the lead partner in collaboration with AIA Memphis for The Paul R. Williams Project, which aims to bring Williams (1894-1980), the first African American member of the AIA (1923), first AIA Fellow (1957) and first AIA Gold Medalist (2017), to wider public, professional and scholarly audiences. AMUM authors and maintains the project's , which includes a photo gallery of his buildings, a timeline of his life and accomplishments, and a comprehensive bibliography and annotated bibliography.

Samuel Hester Crone Project
AMUM holds the most complete collection of works by 19th century American artist, Samuel Hester Crone. It includes over 300 drawings and paintings, as well as hundreds of pieces of ephemera related to Crone鈥檚 life.
