Fall 2024 Law Fee Payment Deadlines

Please note that all Course Fees and Material Fees are non-refundable after the start of the first day of the course. Carefully review the registration dates and corresponding fee payment deadlines below. The Installment Payment Plan (IPP) is offered to help satisfy payment requirements by the appropriate fee payment deadline. If students are not planning to attend, courses should be dropped promptly to avoid owing fees.

April 1	Priority Registration for Fall 2024 begins
July 12	eBills available online on TigerXpress Students will be notified by email (U of M email address) when eBills are available and by text messaging if signed up on TigerXpress to receive text messages.
July 12	Installment Payment Plan (IPP) available to sign-up on TigerXpress. An initial down payment of 25% of the remaining balance of tuition and fees is required and a $25 enrollment fee will automatically be included in IPP. Beginning August 1, the enrollment fee will be $50.
July 29 - August 9	BAPP (Bookstore Advance Payment Plan)
July 31	GA Contracts due to Graduate School
August 12	Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) for students who register through August 12, 2024. *Students who wish to register for courses with remaining seat availability may do so during Late Registration and will be assessed a $200 Late Fee**
August 15	Refunds due from excess financial aid funds will begin processing for the Fall 2024 term for all students signed up for direct deposit.
August 19	1st day of classes
August 30	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period ends 鈥� Law Only
September 1	1st Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan.
September 4	Fee Payment Deadline for Late Registration (4:30 pm). September 6	50% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period ends - Law Only
September 7 - December 13	0% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period - Law Only
October 1	2nd Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan.
November 1	3rd Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan.

Late Registration Additional Information

Students who late register beginning August 12, 2023, will be assessed a $200 Late Fee.
Tuition and all related fees must be paid in full (IPP will not be available).

PLEASE NOTE:

All courses must be paid in full by the Fee Payment Deadline.

Students who decide not to attend or decide to drop a course(s) must drop that course(s) from their schedule. Fees for dropping courses may be adjusted based on the refund policy in effect on the date the course(s) were dropped.
