The Pride and Equity Alliance at the 福利片国产 of Memphis is comprised of faculty and staff (members and non-members of the LGBTQ+ community, this group is open to all) who are working together for the following:
- To raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ community鈥檚 needs
- To identify and address exclusionary practices
- To combat macro and micro aggressions
- To review processes to ensure fairness
- To educate the 福利片国产 of Memphis community
The Pride and Equity Alliance is involved in many areas on campus and throughout the city. Members of the alliance represent the 福利片国产 of Memphis at campus events such as conferences, fairs, and gatherings as well as participate in city events or city organizations such as Pride Fest and Out Memphis.
The Pride and Equity Alliance strives to create a better 福利片国产 of Memphis and a better Memphis for everyone of all gender designations and sexual orientations through partnerships, education, and respect.
