About Amr Mohamed
Dr. Amr Mohamed is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the College of Health Sciences at the 福利片国产 of Memphis, bringing over a decade of experience in statistics and data analysis to his students and research.
Dr. Mohamed earned his doctorate in statistics from Western Michigan 福利片国产 under Dr. Kevin H. Lee, along with a certificate in biostatistics. He also holds a master's degree from the 福利片国产 of Essex (Colchester, UK) and a bachelor's degree in statistics from Benha 福利片国产 in Egypt.
Before joining the 福利片国产 of Memphis, Dr. Mohamed taught at a number of prestigious institutions around the world, including Western Michigan 福利片国产, Miami Regional 福利片国产, the National 福利片国产 of Singapore, and the American 福利片国产 in Cairo.
His research interests span a wide range of applied statistics and data analysis topics, including high-dimensional statistical analysis, statistical machine learning and data mining, variable selection, and classification and clustering. Much of his applied work is focused on biostatistics and health sciences, where he is passionate about using data to drive meaningful discoveries in the field.
