Curricular Procedures
Consideration of curricular requests at the 福利片国产 level ordinarily takes place once a year so that the requests may be reviewed in relation to each other and from the perspective of 福利片国产 programs as a whole. The procedures, formats, and summaries direct attention to the details and consistency that are necessary for such planning. This Curricular Procedures website does not address the philosophy of curriculum, but the process employed to gain approval of the curriculum, which is housed in (福利片国产 site for all curricular request).
Consultation with the Office of the Provost, 福利片国产 Undergraduate Council (UUC), and 福利片国产 Council on Graduate Studies (UCGS) staff early in the planning process for new programs and courses will expedite that process:
- For assistance with undergraduate curriculum and programs, contact the UUC Chair via
e-mail.
- For assistance with graduate curriculum and proposals at the UCGS level, contact the
Dean of the Graduate School at graduateschool@memphis.edu or at (4653).
- For assistance with the Curriculog system, Banner courses, including Special Topics, and e-catalogs at the undergraduate and graduate levels under the Office of the Registrar, e-mail catalog@memphis.edu.
Familiarity with the Curricular Procedures should assist curriculum committees at both levels in the preparation of curricular requests in a manner that will facilitate the review process in Curriculog. Please review the training guides, curriculum forms, and other vital information on this site for assistance. Final approval of all curriculum changes are at the behest of the 福利片国产 President and Provost.
